In short: Without doubt the best and toughest race in South England!!! You must do this!!!
In full: This is the best race that I have ever ran...that atmosphere at the start with almost 1000 runners and their families crammmed inot Corfe common is electric...everyonbe expecting and knowing that trhey will be taking on something spaecial...then it starts up and around Corfe common is a challenge in itself but there are steep narrow rocky paths, those sets of madly steep 200+ steps amnd the most amazing views you'll will see in England. This is an absolutely spectacular run and the organisers deserve massive congartulations for there hardwork and imagination.

In short: Magnificent sea views broken up by hideously steep inclines/descents by stepss
In full: A throughly brilliant race. Well organised. Great value. Without a doubt the best views I've ever seen on a run. My first off roader but the terrain was fairly kind, except for those stairs - if people run all of them, they are doing some serious hardcore training. Happy with a 1:57 time - shame the castle has got the scaffolding up at the moment or the final approach would also have been stunning. Never a chance of a PB here unless you cane it at the start - queues for the stiles/bridges can either be seen as relaxing or annoying. Will be back in 2008.

In short: First time - absolutely fantastic - will be back next year
In full: A fantastic run with stunning scenery. Challenging hills - especially for those of us from the flatlands. We were warned about the steps - although nobody mentioned the second set!! Great organisation and a nice T-shirt as well.

In short: Blimey, that was tough! But fantastic marshals and perfect scenery helped distract from the pain in the thighs!
In full: I swore at the end never again. And now I'm thinking about next year. 5 weeks off training meant I really felt it and was disasterously slow. But I'm proud to have beaten the beast. The marshals were superb. Encouraging and friendly. Thanks to them for their advice - although the man who said it was just 4 miles to go when it was clearly a lot further (I was wearing a GPS) was mean!

In short: Stunning views
In full: What a great event, stunning scenery with views to die for from the clifftops, well organised - quite hilly (we don't have them where I come from!). Well worth the 420 mile round trip. Will be doing this one again.
