In short: Very well organised and well supported (considering the conditions!).
In full: Very very well done to the race organisers on this one. The weather was abismal, but still the marshalls did their very best to chivvy us along, which must have been very difficult in the driving rain.

Great to see plety of water and even bananas at the finish. Other organisers take note.

In short: Not a pb course but I knocked 3 minutes off my previous pb on the flat
In full: Despite the awful wind and rain this was a cracking run. The hill was tough with the rain in your face and the wind taking you sideways but it still didnt disappoint.

I cant believe I got a pb here!!!

In short: Excellent first race - thank you Devizes RC
In full: Absolutely agree with everyone else, it was worth the trip and I even managed a PB despite the weather and the hill. I got to the monument thinking it wasn't too bad and not being local didn't realise that I was only halfway up at that stage!! The marshalls were fantastic and the organisation was superb. I'm looking forward to coming back and running the race in sunshine next year guys!!

In short: Wll run, lots of parking, great event!
In full: Parking is within a few minute's walk of the start line. Toilets are a bit basic but clean. Spectators are well looked after at the football ground; they can wait in the bar area, in the dry, with a cup of tea and cake. It's a good event.

In short: Head winds, cross winds, horizontal rain and a cracking long hill - a tester.
In full: The bad weather and that long hill climb early in the race made this race a real tester, however Devizes RC organised the race well and the marshalls were great. Thanks.

In short: Well done organisers for a first time it was not at all obvious - but could you order better weather next year please 8^)
In full: Top run, well organised and great marshalls. It was wet, cold and hilly ( but not Longleat hills ) to start but a nice run in for the last 4k or so.

Could do without the loop at 7 or 8k where you see faster runners going back past you a la Great South Run, but hey ho it was a full 10k unlike some others ( Tidworth ) I have done.
