In short: Great race, great organisation and great fun.
In full: Flat road race, so ideal for PB. No crowding so once you have passed start line, very easy to find your pace and run the race you want to. Brilliant organisation and friendly marshalls. Not a great deal of public support due to route, but where they could, the local residents had come out and were great at cheering us on. Would recommend it as very beginner-friendly. Will definitely do it again next year.

In short: Proffesionally organised, pride of gosport!
In full: First time I've ran this yet take part in most races throughout the year including, great north, great south, denmead 10k, overton, lordshill etc. Out of all of the league races this is the first I felt a sense of community with. The organisers take pride in this and the marshals genuinly do an amazing job (they don't just stand there, all of them really push you on). At one point a guy from another club got a drink from one of the water stations and passed it on to me (thanks to that guy) I got a half marathon PB of 1 hour 25, great sense of achievment and a real sense of value for money. Definately coming back next year (p.s. we'l not mention the water feature ;)
