In short: Good race, well organised, great weather
In full: First half marathon and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The organisation was excellent with great marshalling. The scenery is a mixture of the fairly mundane and then the very scenic bits along the sea front when you're feeling tired near the end. Helped by perfect weather but I'd definitely do it again even if it had been chucking it down.

In short: Well done again! Flat, fast, lucky with weather!
In full: My second Gosport half, and although I did not repeat my supurb PB of last year I enjoyed it none the less. The weather was great, slight headwind (which is being blamed by me for the lack of PB) but nothing to troublesome. Fantastic marshalls again and the spectators were all friendly too. The cross roads with the cars coming out of the airfield should win awards for its organisation - runners should always come first! Well done chaps. And I like the airfield being able to see the faster and slower runners helped to spur me on. I will return.

In short: Splendid day, sunshine must have been ordered in specially!
In full: What a lovely race. VERY well organised, chip collection - no queues. Loos - plenty and only 5 min queues. Baggage - not sure - used my Husband.
Slight delay at start but that was no issue. The course was lovely and flat, toward the end lovely views over the Solent and the sensible people sailing rather than running. The part thru' Daedalus was lovely and confusing so one never had any idea how much longer...and I mean this sincerely...I hate 'knowing' how much farther to go on familiar roads so this was a wiggly change.
The Marshalls were *superb* and so friendly, really encouraging - special thanks to them all :)
I was right near the back due to injury but everyone was just so supportive, a lovely friendly race and one I will be back for next year.
Oh and what a super goodie-bag - how refreshing not to have one full of 'bits' that one will never use, and instead to have real 'goodies' to refuel with. Well done the cake bakers!

In short: Once again, an excellent race day. It was well organised (thank you marshalls) and good weather was laid on too.

In short: Well organised race with the best goody bag ever, inc. homemade cake and a banana awwsome!
In full: A great race well organised from signing up bag drop to the best goody bag I have ever had which included really useful things like homemade cake (which was to die for, love it keep it up). I'm running it again next year just for some more of the delicious cake! ...oh and its PB potential as well :-)

In short: Well done Gosport!
In full: Excellent organisation, friendly and encouraging marshals, a fast, flat course with chip timing, and a nice goody bag at the end. Lovely weather today and I ran a PB which is likely to have influenced my opinion, but it would be hard to improve on the race and overall experience, and Gosport Road Runners are to be congratulated on a superb event.
