In short: Pretty, flat, and friendly... a great improvement on last year
In full: I heard all kinds of bad things about last year's race, but decided to try it this year and find out for myself. Relieved to see that the organisers took on board the criticism they received and made this year's event one to remember... for the right reasons! Plenty of water around the course, super friendly marshalls, good signage... and a pretty route around the villages of Ashchurch and Bredon. I had a lovely day, and will definitely consider a repeat visit in 2010.

In short: Whats wrong with the people of Tewkesbury ? And Flat !!!
In full: Almost constant undulations, if you PB this, you should try a flat race.
Organisation was excellent, so well done to the organisers as I Had only heard negative comments from previous races.
The reason I won't do this again, apart from the rather depressing areas its largely run through are the people of Tewkesbury, my normal exp of people clapping & cheering was replaced by 75% indifference, they seemed a very uninterested bunch, its really started to annoy me at one point.

In short: A good fast half
In full: A nice flat course to get a PB.
Car parking excellent right next to the start, chip collection no problems, plenty of marshals, clear mile markers, well manned water stations, good finish in a field with plenty of space for family and spectators. I had no problems with dodging traffic.

Thoroughly enjoyed this race.

In short: Much better organised than the last few years, very good indeed.
In full: flat course, pretty quick route so good for the speed demons amongst us. The baggage collection was right next to the finish, plus, there was a millllllliiiiiiiiion marshals making sure it all went well. Car parking silky smooth with the start being right next to the car park and loos. Well done 209 event for improving so much. go on runners do this event I am sure next year will be even better.
