In short: Second year running and I love this race!!!!
In full: Its very well organized and the course is suitable for athletes of all levels. Plus it is for charity, so if you think its abit pricey, think of the good its doing. T-Shirt much nicer this year than last, more space to leave bags and several check in places. Overall improvement on last year and well worth doing.........Will definetly be doing it again next year!!!

In short: Excellent race for everyone from new to old. Great t-shirt as well.
In full: good idea to split the runners up which in my mind worked a treat, loads of supporters and marshalls with plenty of water stations. cant fault anything about it

In short: Definitely a good one if you're a beginner
In full: Fantastic cause, race itself too crowded for my taste - started too far back and spent more less the whole race dodging people walking, quite tricky because the course is narrow in places. No chance of a PB and was disappointed because I'd actually trained for this one. Distance markers not very clear. Again, being far back meant no t-shirts left in my size when I finished, and having to wait 25 mins to reclaim my bag.

But lots of plusses - great music at 3 different stages which was very motivating, fab generous support from bystanders, drink stations at exactly the right places. And the course itself was nicely undulating. Really great actually running through the city and even the Meanwood Road bit I thought was ok because it was motivating to see people coming back the other way, going faster than me!

In short: Organisation could have been better before the event and it could have been measured properly!!
In full: Ended up being a 10.25k race and it's not flat!!

I was given a red number when my PB was sub 50, so felt I had to weave a lot at the start. I emailed them weeks before the event but heard nothing back.

Baggage was well handled by the cubs/scouts, but there was really no need for someone to be there shouting at the poor blighters. (one of the adult 'helpers')

The energy drink was a bit of a waste of money.

Didn't get anywhere near my PB. I'm blaming having to weave for the first 2km and the fact it clearly wasn't 10km.

Other than that. Great!!!

In short: Well organised, great atmos and a fitting tribute to an inspirational woman
In full: As in the summary - the only gripe being that the distance of the run was measured by most people to be around the 10.25km mark which will have frustrated some who were chasing pb's. However, I wouldn't want to be too fussy after such a well organised, atmospheric and beginner-friendly race.
