In full: I really enjoyed this event from the start the novelty of everyone singing The National Anthem before setting off really gave us motivation.I have done lots of half marathons regularly using my Garmen and to my horror realised today I had forgotten it but I think it turned out the best thing. It has been a long time since I could say I really enjoyed a race. The scenery was spectacular lovely views and it was lovely running through the coolness of the woods.I managed to fall over twice the second one a bit more spectacular than the first so have a few grazes and ache a bit today I think I must have got tired but despite this it was just such a great race.I ended up one minute 8 seconds over the two hour mark but didn't care the feeling of achievement was great.Loved the goodies at the end great T shirt and my husband loved the beer can't wait for next year.

In short: Good fun
In full: Good to have a 9am start - over and done with nice and early with the rest of the day to recover. The hills were a bit bigger than I expected but the event was well organised & a lot of fun.

In short: Prepare for the hills. What goes up must come down!!
In full: My 2nd Badger half, and tougher than I remember from last year!! I was fitter then which is probably why.
The race is fantastic, loved it all the way up and back down ;-)
Organisation was really good, just one more marshal towards the end would have been good as a few people seemed to miss the entrance to the pathway. But in truth that was the most minor of grips in an otherwise flawless race (cant believe I have even bothered to type about the that small negative).

Do this race next year, its fantastice!!

In short: Stunning scenery and killer hills! My best race so far this year!
In full: Absolutely loved this race. It was certainly challenging - with constant hills up and down and rocky, tree-root strewn tracks - but the scenery made up for that - such a beautiful route through the Surrey countryside. I particularly liked all the horses and sheep that came over to the fence to cheer us on! The marshalls were smiley and encouraging (and efficient) and the goody bag was great - a fantastic t-shirt, other bits and pieces and, of course, the Badger Beer (what a lovely touch!). I'll definitely be back next year... if my legs have recovered by then!

In short: Just as good as last year and (unbelievably) a PB!
In full: As I've come to expect from Alan and team - a thoroughly well organised and fun (!) race. Hard to find fault and the bag of goodies at the end was worth the entry fee on it's own.

In short: Beautiful way to spend Sunday morning
In full: I have not enjoyed a race so much in ages. It was certainly hilly, but a long long downhill to the finish and the scenery made it all worthwhile.
It was a great atmosphere and a nice badger T-shirt at the finish. I'll be back

In short: Restored my faith in organized events!
In full: Having participated in a very badly run half marathon the other week, this race restored my love for racing. Well organized, good marshalling and friendly atmosphere. Yes it's a bit tough but all these things keep you going. Plus you run alongside horses and cows (not Badgers). Hear it's getting bigger next year - hope they don't change it too much.
