In short: Well organised, fast course, good support, but not much to look at.

In short: Forgotten how hilly is was but always well organised and friendly
In full: Did my best 10K time for a while so couldn't have been that hilly - just seemed it at times. Slick organisation and efficient (if unemotional, at times!) marshalling though a battle with traffic in early part of race. Excellent race facilities in the new, modern building.

In short: Got myself a PB
In full: Really friendly crowd, makes all the difference! Very well organised, a fair bit on roads but the marshalls were excellent and very encouraging. Chuffed I got a PB. Thanks 26.2 RRC :o)

In short: Speedy
In full: Managed a PB so definitely worth doing this race. It can be a little tricky underfoot when chaging from pavement to road and back again.

In short: Got a pb of 47 mins so pretty fast course but just a pavement race you could be anywhere. Nothing special, no need to do again. Well organized though and good selection of biscuits.

In short: Main roads and cars
In full: Good organisation, but it was just like a training run with marshalls and markers. The race was run on main roads or pavements next to them. Pollution, cars and ugly buildings. Not my idea of fun.

In short: Not overly scenic, but well run and good fun!
In full: My 3rd 10k and the best so far. Very well run, first two "legs" run on the road then onto the pavement once you reach Horton Lane. First half quite scenic, second half not so much. A few short hills. Good t-shirt, drinks etc at end of race, and marshalls at every road junction. Was it my imagination, or did it seem like a touch over 10k?

In short: Flat, fairly fast, well organised and a good start to the day
In full: A really good race with facilities at the beginning to get something to eat and drink and at the end to shower and get changed. Free parking at Chessington Adventure Park was only a 10 minute walk.
The race itself was a little slow at first because we were all trying to stay off the road - slightly impossible with the amount of people and very small pavements but after about the 4k things seemed to spread out a bit. It's also pretty flat so opportunities to take off at a gallop if you want.
I would do it again for sure. A friendly club with plenty of encouragement and very well organised.
