In short: Brilliant event!
In full: Fantastic event to take part in...organisers had done a great job in marking out the course to go through as much deep mud as possible..& arranging several torrential downpours...wouldn't be the same in warm & sunny weather! Here's to the next one!

In short: Abominable Mud Monster
In full: Great race. Was off quickly with no long delays at the start. Soon found myself in the bottom 10 - 15 and there I stayed the way round. Loved the tank section and once back in the fields forgot about just how much it was hurting. X Zone was brilliant. I became a "tree hugger" - very useful for dragging yourself out of the mud. Thanks to the girls and guy who helped me round. Very friendly.

In short: WOW!
In full: First ever trail run, amazing! Don't think about it - DO IT. When you're trying to pull one of your legs free whilst up to your armpits in the thickest black stinky bog porridge, just remember, there will be freezing cold water up to you chin round the corner to help clean you off. Brilliant, and it makes your hot bath later feel like the best bath you ever had.
