In short: Great atmosphere, good advert for Newham
In full: I really enjoyed this one - I live just across the border in Hackney so it was very local for me. The narrow ramp up to the Greenway was always going to be a problem - maybe solvable in future years by running the race in reverse so it's late in the race?

The marshals were fab, especially the ones at the 4km point! The Olympic welcome was also nice. Hopefully the ODA will let us into the construction area proper in future years - there's plenty of proper, wide roads in there.

Definitely will be making it back for next year.

In short: Great atmosphere!
In full: Apart from a couple of tweaks ( the bottleneck and the chaotic finish) I thought this was a fab race. The atmosphere at the begining was great and although there were only a few spectators along the course, they were very encouraging.
The marshalls did a really good job and kept me smiling all tHe way round. A really positive event for Newham. Thanks - see you next year!

In full: The bottle neck was a bad idea. You can't expect 1400 people to walk single file through a building site, just to see the outside of an unfinished stadium. And the finished was a bit disorganised. I am sure next year will be better.

In full: Very well organised race and especially good value for Newham residents! The Olympic stadium is coming along nicely and it will be interesting to see how much more progress has been made with the building work in the Olympic Park next year!Marshals did a great job and were very encouraging, would have been nice though to have seen more spectators lining the course. Great atmosphere at the start and a very welcoming and ideal race for people trying this distance for the first time.

In short: i am sure this will get better. i had a good day. well done to all
In full: it was good to take part in the first race. the bottle neck was going to be a problem, but they wanted the runners to take in the stadium. i am sure with a few tweaks it will get better.

In short: 2012 will soon be here..........
In full: I was really looking forward to doing this race as it is local to me. Great start and so lovely to hear Michael Watson speaking about POSITIVE, MENTAL, ATTITUDE. Bottleneck was a nuisance and l am sure parts of the race will be tweaked for the next one. The marshalls were jolly and l am glad l took part. Would like to have seen the medal engraved with the date, however nice goody bag thank you everyone.
