In short: Still a good race, but the start is still terrifying
In full: I've done this race 4 times now, and the start is still quite scary - lots of runners on a narrow road, and as in previous years, I saw a couple of poor chaps go down and were trying desperately to protect themselves from being trampled. Don't know why some folks feel the need to push and shove, but guess it's the only way to a pb for some!

Organisation is very good and there is good pb potential. For once, I actually enjoyed the race this year as it normally fills me with dread - I might even go back again next year for more of the same....

Thanks to all the marshalls and the organisers for another good race.

In short: Well organised, but start too tight, difficult to get space in the first half mile. At least all those bodies emitting heat kept me warm while waiting to start.

In short: Nice race, stuttering start with so many people in a narrow street, but no great issues.

In short: Good for speed training
In full: Well worth the visit if you want to test your speedwork in training. Good PB potential asit is flat.
Start has to be improved and sign posted. Shambles as the road was far to narrow for all those runners and proved a problem for those who were pushed over in the first few seconds

In short: Flat with long straights - good for PBs if wind is not too strong.
In full: The start is in a residential road and is too congested for 1000+ runners - get a good spot and keep your wits about you if you want to stay on your feet.

In short: Great speedwork
In full: Even though it was a bit cold, I soon got warmed up, no hills just a flat 5 mile.

In short: A nice race to run in which produced a PB time for me.
In full: The route was nice and flat with marshals present (although some a little quiet!) to guide the way. Mile markers were clearly visible and this assisted me in pacing myself for my PB. Spectators provided much needed support and encouragement. Would definitely take part again next year.
