In short: If you only ever do one race, do this one, it was my first in Dec 2005 and Sunday was my Hat-Trick
In full: Don't change anything and personally I think the more who turn up the better

In short: Fabulous race; couldn't be any better :)
In full: This event is faultless - utter madness wrapped up in ribbons! Even running through a sewage works cannot put a dampener on this event. It has it all; massive sand dune for pointless exertion, bit of tarmac for speed merchants (if they have any energy after the dune!), nice moor for fell running and freezing rivers for barmpots - brilliant:))

On top of that, you get a pudding for finishing:))

In short: A 'must do' race that everyone should do at least once.
In full: Very professionally organised - everything went smoothly. It starts on time, which is one of the most important things in my opinion.
The marshalls do a fantastic job - standing out there exposed to the elements for hours, yet all of them were cheerful and encouraging to the last.

The water feature near the end is the cherry on the cake!!!!!!

In short: Cracking Christmas Cross Country Caper
In full: :-))

Well, with Europe's largest sand dune, 'The Big Dipper' looming large at the start you know you are about to max out the old ticker, and it doesn't disappoint. Six minutes later, when you are over the dipper and back down at base camp, your eyes popping out of your head, you comfort yourself with the knowledge that there are just another 9.5 kilometers to go.

Another long climb, a gold course, an estuary and a few streams make the rest of this race highly enjoyable.

Do pre-enter, as this race may well sell out next year, and don't forget to have a poo before you leave the house otherwise with only 6 toilets at the start you, as do the bears, will be shitting in the woods.

A must do race, and well worth a drive from even far afield.

:-))

In short: A freezing, challenging must do welsh multi terrain race
In full: As always the field of this race gets bigger each year - the crowds brought by the challenge of the big dipper and the beautiful course. I always enjoy this race but would like to see mile markers. Also the tshirts which were on sale looked excellent but not having anywhere to stash kit and wallets after long walk from car park meant i left without the obligatory splash of cash. Minor gripes for one of my favourite races
