In short: Great charity race
In full: The weather was amazing given the downpour the day before and the location, in one of London's most central and picturesque parks, was a real plus. The organisation was great for a first time event and the marshalls and staff were all really friendly and supportive which lifted the whole event for me and led to a really enjoyable run. I would definitely do it again. A good run and a great cause.

I've read the comments below about the bag store being further away than necessary but I overheard one of the marshalls explain that this was because of the bad weather the day before. They had planned on it being by the main tents but, as noted below, the field turned into a real marsh with all the rain and so the store had to be moved to drier land a little further away.

In short: A few improvements to the course would help.
In full: Staff on hand were very friendly/helpful and organisation was generally good although I too thought a few more loos would have helped and that it wasn't necessary to have the baggage area so far away from the start/finish (and on the opposite side of what closely resembled a peat bog). There were plenty of marshalls on the course making sure that runners didn't take a wrong turn on to one of the multitude of paths in the Park, kilometre markers were a little haphazardly set out - at 2K I was around 10 seconds down on my target time but then miraculously by 3K I was 30 seconds up! I've run in a number of 10Ks in Hyde Park before and compared with these previous races, the course was quite twisty and, unlike other reviewers, I felt not as flat as it could have been. Another drawback was the fact that part of the route took in two laps of the same loop and that some of the paths were pretty narrow thus making overtaking a little difficult - fortunately the field was relatively small otherwise overtaking would have been impossible! Overall, not bad as a first attempt and if they were to make a few improvements to the course I would definitely consider running again as the whole event was conducted in a relaxed and friendly manner.

In short: Could be better!
In full: The organizers and general atmosphere were really friendly exept for a few details needing improvement.
First of all more portaloo toilets are needed, although there are toilets in the park these are not very near, the nearest ones marked in the map we got sent in the race pack were a good 10 minutes away, once I got there the builders working on the "Winter wonderland Xmas market" started complaining saying that access to the area was restricted as there were trucks going up and down..
Another point I could not understand was why they had the baggage area so far from the other tents placed for the event and had to walk up and down through cold mud to leave/ collect our belongings, thank goodness it was not raining!!! KM markers were a bit of a mess plus apart from the medal and finisher's T-shirt we were promised a goody bag, we got the bags but where were the goodies? a small snack and a bottle of flavoured water. Considering the price I was expecting a bit more than that.
Not sure if I will attend next year, considering this was their first event I would give it the benefit of the doubt and may be give it another go.

In short: Great way to spend a Sunday morning!
In full: I really enjoyed this event - hard to believe we were in Central London! After the horrendous weather, ths sunshine made everyone feel good and the organisation was great. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Due to the postal strike everyone had to collect their chips onsite but this was fine. Will definitely mark my diary for next year!

In short: Great setting for a fairly flat Sunday morning 10K in the heart of London
In full: Generally very well organised, supportive staff. Weather was miraculous considering the downpours of preceding days. Only downpoints were the huge toilet queues at the start and some Sunday morning cyclists and walkers sharing the route but not necessarily supportive. Man on recumbent bike snaking his way against the flow of the race start should take note in particular!
