In short: challenging race, perfect organisation In full: had a tough one (a word of thanks to one of the marshalls at 22m(?) who prompted me to restart running!) but race is fairly faultless. First half incredibly scenic, second is all flat but a tough mental challenge out on the seafront. thanks to all. Date of review: September 5, 2011

In short: Challenging course but offering great sea views, runner solidarity and some of the best marshalls around! In full: Ran this yesterday, and got a new pb! Woo! Would say it's a challenging course - first half is relatively hilly, and the second half is tough mentally - running past the finish at half way meant that everyone around me finished (half marathoning) so I ran miles 13-15 without another runner in sight, which was tough, and from a pace point of view I think I suffered there. Then I stopped to see to my humungous blisters and was caught up by some wonderful runners, who dragged me along through the miles of doom until I found my second wind on the home strait at about mile 20. If you are looking for a low key but very friendly marathon with a low price tag and some lovely sea views (particularly in the 1st half), this is for you. Date of review: September 5, 2011

In short: If you are looking for a marathon that's really well run, enthusiastically supported and set in some beautiful surroundings, then I can highly recommend the Kent Coastal Marathon. The support from the local people was brilliant and really positive - it made a real difference. The organisation was excellent, with enthusiastic and friendly support to boot.

In short: My first Marathon, Another tick off my bucket list! In full: TRRAC have done a fantastic job. In our budget tightening times to find a Marathon entry at this price, with this level of support and organisation is incredable, the stunning views of the Kent coastline, the happy banter and support of other runners is all top drawer, its probably Kents best kept running secret but I feel once the word is out the few "on the day" entries will become a thing of memory! I was amazed at the level of support mustered up as Marshals and the manning of drink/gel stations, that must have been a logistical headache that worked so well on the day a BIG THANK YOU to TRRAC Commitee, Marshals, and sponsors. In short: 4th time and I'd love to be back again next year In full: This one deserves a really good reputation, like the Halstead's etc, as a very well organised marathon run by a very friendly running club and at good value. Really supportive marshalls, nice route by the sea, plenty of water, gels and even jelly babies (it was worth running an injury induced PW to be able to take full advantage!), and good medal and t-shirt - there's nothing missing to my mind. Well done TRAC! Date of review: September 5, 2011

In short: nice race organised by local club In full: well done to TRRC for this. testing course in testing conditions. headwind in 1st half and very humid in 2nd half. good marshal support with enough water stations for conditions. course allowed to stay away from busy parts of broadstairs and ramsgate and lots of pedestrians. start/finish were wellmarked and supported and each runner 'named' by man on microphone which was a nice touch. food, toilet and changing areas are considered and donw well. t-shirt, goody bag and medal with massage tent available, what else do you need? thanks very much.
