In short: Good event to do every year
In full: Can be very muddy - almost like running on the beech in places - 90% off road well marshalled where needed. the last 2 years the weather has been very kind.

In short: tough run but very scenic. poor organisation ruined it for me. wouldn't do it again.
In full: tough course which really is multi terrain with plenty of hills and undulating parts. very badly organised race, turned up early and was turned away from main car park which wasn't even full! no mile markers on the course which wouldn't be too bad if the marshals knew what they were talking about (one says 2 miles left and another further along says 3!!!). also got misdirected at one point just to add insult to injury. the waiting around at the stiles was a bit frustrating; coaster and water only at the end was also disappointing. only great thing about this race was the beautiful scenery.

In short: Excellent again :)
In full: 3rd time running this (all three with a hangover, oops). Once again, this event did not disapoint. It just keeps getting better and better. The marshalls were friendly, encouraging and plenty of them so we didn't have to use our brains or really pay attention to the signs. Lovely lovely course, HUGE disapointment at lack of mud in gully(send someone along with a hose next time), great organisation, smiles all round :) Yes, would be nice to get something other than the coaster, but then we all have drawers full of t-shirts too... The outbound route round the playing field immediately before golf course was missing a marshall/marker or was that a course change? Everyone headed diagonally across in very non-sepcific way! Didn't bother me, but thought maybe it made course just short? Anyway, well done Stourbridge, you did good :)

In short: A great race, well worth turning up for!
In full: A great race, well organised plenty of marshalls, few traffic problems. Mostly off-road, good terrain with a couple of challenging hills but nothing too serious. I'll be back for another go next time.

In short: A fantastic race , well marshalled with beautiful scenery
In full: I loved this race through the beautiful rolling scenery , the tough hills and muddy trails were easily offset by the quite stunning and atmospheric scenery with lakes with frosty mist rising and snow drops flowering. Fantastic friendly encouraging marshalls too and a useful attractive coaster at the end.

Some better signposting for toilets and spectators at the HQ would be great next year!
