In short: Not another hill
In full: Living in Sheffield I am used to hill but found this quite tough - maybe better 2nd time as this time i ran most the race thinking you finished as you started and that would have been a long uphill. Stewards were great, parking was good (if you arrived early enough) plenty of street parking and one of the pubs was very kindly letting you use their toilets. I likes the 12.00 start as well. Good t shirt. It made me realise how far i am away from being fit enough for the Edinburgh Marathon !

In short: Hilly
In full: This was my first half marathon. really enjoyed the race and atmosphere. Marshals were great with wellcomed encouragement. The hills that I had read about were not as dificult as I was expecting, but that finish line was a great sight.

In short: Fun, Friendly, Challenging
In full: I've done Liversedge for the past four years and really enjoy it. It's small and friendly and there's a lovely atmosphere and refreshments in the village hall afterwards. A tidy, well-organised, challenging race.

In full: A great balance of hills and down hills , thers one hill from around 9 miles 'a long and gradual hill but rewarded with a good down hill, plenty of drinks ,not for beginers.
Race finish straight and full of atmosphere with (comedy) pa system. I consider myself to be a good half marathon runner and this was my worst time for 12 months.Excellent marshals as always' Thanks Robbertstown

In short: Hilly
In full: Harder than I expected, so my legs were/are suffering. If you are well prepared and looking for a challenging race as preparation for a Marathon, this could be the one. Beware Steep and Long Hills !!!!!
