In short: Some tough hills through a scenic route with a good quick downhill at the end. Friendly, encouraging marshalls.
In full: Marlow Striders ordered some good weather today.
I enjoyed the race, my legs are not as enthusiastic.
Probably could do with some more toilets.

In short: Marshals were just fabulous
In full: First time i have done this race and i have to say the marshals were brilliant they were so encouraging and constantly cheering and clapping and it wasnt the warmest of days for them to be standing outside. Will def run this race again next year. The hills were a challange but the last 2 miles make up for all the hard work!

In short: Tough hills softened by the scenery.
In full: A slow start (uphill) with some toughies throughout! However, the picturesque country lanes helped to alleviate the pain. What goes up must come down which made for a flying finish. Good t-shirt at the finish but unfortunately no other goodies.

In short: Glorious Scenery with Killer hills
In full: ... loved the weather and the cold crisp air - this was my 6th HM of the year and was thought to be a final crowning challenging one - and I got exactly what I was looking for - repeated and challenging hills and a constant incline either up or down .... wow - I am no aching where I have not ached before on my legs .... but loved it ...

The water station at the10 mile marker was struggling to have water out for the runners - but guess that is because I was "late" - but overall the organisation was great and the marshalls and the public were very encouraging!

Great race!

In short: Tough hills and beautiful Chiltern countryside
In full: Suggestions for improvement, more loos and announcements audible in the hall. Shame the showers were denied to us.

In short: 1.36.01 - And I say that with massive pride!
In full: What a hard, hard course.

Beautiful day, lovely scenery, lots of water availiable and great organisation for a good price

Some KILLER hills. I could not emphasise that more. You could see off a few newbies with those.

I'll be back for more. Well done Marlow

In short: Thank you Marshalls
In full: I am always appreciative of Marshalls, but this year they were Saints. I saw 1 Lady at 8.30, at the car park, soaking wet directing Runners. Then I saw her again at 11.00, at the finish sorting people out, still soaking wet.

I agree with all the comments made before. But for me, it was the Marshalls who made it.

In short: Fantastic course and well organised
In full: One of the few that I wouldn't want to miss. Despite the heavy rain and a spot of flooding, this is a truly great course. Challenging and constantly changing scenery. Very good marshalling and local support popped up just when you need it.

Improvements for next year? A goodie bag to complement the good T-shirt OR a medal even better.
