In short: really good race
In full: it was interesting to see where they were going to make up the distance having a different finish and could have done without that long drag between 8 and 9 miles having said that this an excllent race and the food at the end rounds it off. well done lasswade

In short: Friendly, helpful marshalls and a genuine attempt to make as hospitable as possible for runners. Value for money, including copious amounts of home-baking for ravenous post-race runners. Many thanks to the organisers of this event - much appreciated!

In short: Great race
In full: Beautiful scenery, good marshalling, excellent post race buffet and a medal all for £10. First time doing this one and I'd recommend it.

In short: Challenging but very enjoyable
In full: "Undulating" is something of an understatement! The weather was also challenging on the higher exposed sections. However a brilliant race. Will definitely do it again and try to better my time, but this is not the race to attempt a 10M PB! Good food afterwards.

In short: BRILLIANT
In full: Will do this again next year. Its truly beautiful scenery coupled with supportive Marshalling and an excellent spread after. Its what running is all about. Hardest race I have ever run but on of the most rewarding as well.

In short: Tough hills and miserable weather (as expected). Fantastic atmosphere and organisation - including excellent post-race buffet.
In full: The Lasswade 10 is a great race, it promises to be tough and delivers that with some stiff climbs and exposed sections when the frankly baltic Midlothian wind does its worst.

It's an unlikely PB option, but the organisation is a slick and friendly as could be wished, including the best post-race buffet that one could hope for - almost worth it for that alone! Congratulations to all involved.

In short: challenging course but great atmosphere
In full: My first time to do this 10miles but was definitely worth it. Thanks to all the marshals who braved the cold wind and for being so supportative. The tea and sandwiches at the end were much appreciated. Hills are challenging but enjoyed the downhills leading back to Rosewell. One plea for next year would be more women's loos - queuing for 30min before the race was not pleasant.
