In short: Nice, flattish course. In full: Seemed to me that this race was geared up for faster runners. The majority of the course was downhill. Could of done without the hill at the end! I would do it again. Date of review: September 16, 2005

In short: A great race for a first half marathon, loved the views! In full: Very well organised and friendly atmosphere so this was a great for a first time half marathoner. Good to have sponges as well as water as sun kept appearing from behind the clouds. In my last mile as approached the finish line, silence as I approached - I had to yell at the crowd to get them to cheer me in - which they did! Agree re the showers for woemen and yes, it might be a luxury but if they are going to be provided, then provide a reasonable number. I had to rebel and go in the men's as the queue for the ladies was so long.....several other women followed suit! We were all very well behaved I can assure you. Will definitely do this race again.
