In short: What a fantastic event, from the excellent planning and communication, the marshals, steel drummers & elvis to the fantastic goody bag, t shirt & medal. This was my first 10k run and will absolutely be one to remember, will be definitely back next ye

In short: Fab race
In full: Another well organised run with a great amount of thought and planning having gone into the event. Great entertainment en route and the t shirt and goody bag are the best. Would recommend to all from the very speedy to the not so. Many thanks to all the volunteers who braved the weather including the very encouraging and polite youngsters ?cadets. Will be back next year

In short: Great Value for money
In full: Cracking day, were do i start. Marshalls and volenters were amazing and deserve a huge pat on the back for the help guidence and encouragment during the race. Goody bag was best ive had along with a great t-shirt. Only downside i could say an it is a small one mayby a few more buses to shuttle people across to sart line. Will be back next year thou. Keep up the good work.

In short: The most organised race out of the 230 I have done
In full: Wow! Adrian (the organiser) kept us entertained on Facebook for several months in the build up to the race. The organisation, volunteers, technical running shirt, humour, medal, goody bag, bands & Elvis singing on route along the coastline and 2,500 runners make this the UKs number 1

In short: Great race with a combination of great banter and a fast course
In full: The pre-race organisation for this was excellent with a great website, detailed emails and regular facebook updates. It was a nice touch to email at 6.40am to confirm that the weather was ok! It was a shame that the start was delayed, but at least we were inside. Great atmosphere around the course. Personally I would prefer a more central start/finish so that supporters can both drop/ collect runners and watch the middle bit of the race (similar to the route taken by the AgeUK organisers last spring), but I understand that with 2500 runners it would be hard to organise and there would be a loss of facilities. The field size is spot on for this race- not too busy that you can't move, but plenty of company running round. I think if it got any bigger it would be helpful to have more groups at the beginning (i.e. sub 40, 40-50, 50-60, 60+) as I know from other races I've done that can help ease the congestion at the beginning.
