In short: Good local race
In full: Not sure if was my lack of a finishing kick or a big gap between the 9km and finish line!

In short: Quick, flat and enjoyable
In full: My first ever race, which happened to be local. Good flat course and set a good PB. This would have been better as I was on a 200m sprint at the end which I could not complete as the last 20m was a sharp left hand dog leg through a farmers gate which funnelled down to a narrow finish line, could have got past a small crowd.

In short: Flat, rural course with excellent marshalling but not enough toilets!
In full: This is a good course, flat and fast as advertised. However, there were not enough toilets and having to queue on arrival to get chips seemed silly rather than sending them out in the post.

The marshalling on the course was superb, well laid out and friendly supportive marshalls. However, there were a lot of people bunched up at the finishing line which may need to be improved.

It's not cheap to enter but you do get a medal, T shirt and fruit at the end which was nice. Overall, a good race with only some minor downsides.
