In short: slow....slow start and a bit cramped in places, small spells on cobbles were not too comfortable but well otherwise no real problems

In short: Very enjoyable - if a little soggy!
In full: Great support along the Portway including a very uplifting band. Fantastic atmosphere particularly in the first mile.

In short: Fantastic race, great atmosphere and top marshalling
In full: Really impressed with the race this year. Started spot on time, although it had larger crowd than last year I didn't have to much problem at the start with bumping into people, actually beat my PB by 12 seconds. Plenty of water, energy stations and support on route. Praise must also go to the marshals and army cadets manning the water stations and helping out at the end of the race. Also at the end, received a good quality medal, water, lucozade, goody bag, banana and support from everyone helping out.

In short: High potential, great crowd/entry, good care of runners, bit congested
In full: This course, if organised at the start a bit better, offers high PB potential. Some pen control as per FLM and pen ID'd nos would have helped. Did not start running my pace until 2 miles plus following almost 4.50 min delay in getting over the start and kept passing all the way to the end. Some great landmarks, fantastic crowd, plenty of water, energy drinks and yippee, bananas at the end as well as 2 different goodie bags (one from the organisers/sponsors and one from the Beeb) Great charity participation and crowd support kept going right past 4 hour point. Good humoured and plentiful marshalls and plenty of cadets helping out at various areas. Thanks and well done to all of them. Quite a few bottlenecks up to and including mile 12!!! Great day out though and will do again

In short: Very friendly marshals, and scouts etc at drinks stations. Can't get any flatter in Bristol. Cobbles no real problem - just slow you down slightly like an incline. Nasty polyester T-shirt, but nice goody bag and medal.
