In short: Good introduction to the world of running
In full: I'm doing the GNR for the 1st time this year and this event was recommended as a good way of getting experience and distance in. Good flat course, with good support on route, apart from the young lads in white tracksuits trying to join in half way along!!

Got my 1st medal, and 64minutes time for a 1st 10K proper chuffed.

In short: Great course and vocal support from the crowds (including the bemused stag and hen do's leaving their hotels).

In short: Great charity event
In full: Got my PB but was hoping for more as the weather was perfect for a quick time. Great atmosphere along the way especially towards the pleasure beach. Definately on the list for next year.

In short: Second year running for me on this race. Its made for PB's and I duely got mine. Yes the 40 minute pens could be policed a bit better and maybe another pen for the under 50 minute runners to separe the elite from the committed.

In short: Its a Fun Charity Run but well worth it
In full: Only grump is that half way drink station wasn't manned. Great turn out from the major local club, Wesham. They had maybe 6 in 1st 20. Looking forward to Mondays Gazette.

In short: If you get a good start its a pb seekers dream course.
In full: This is a fun run with the majority of the runners just happy to finish and raise money for their charities. I entered for a pb which i got. The course is fast and flat which is why i entered. The only gripe is the fact that a minority of people think they deserve to be on the front row when it clearly says 'under 40 mins only', some of these runners had gola trainers and jogging bottoms hence why i passed them after 2 minutes (walking).

Apart from the excellent.
