In short: Thank you!
In full: Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the marshalls and everyone at the water points as I only had the energy to grunt at them at the time! They were extremely encouraging. Only gripe about the day would be about the lack of any goody bag at the end. A chocolate bar and a bottle of lucozade would have been worth it's weight in gold on such a hot day!

In short: Beautiful course, interesting hills but could do with more water stops!
In full: Lovely scenery and really well organised. But there was limited support to help runners deal with the heat of the day. An earlier start would have been better and there were not enough water stops. That aside, it's a lovely course and the marshalls were very cheerful and helpful. I'll be doing it again next year.

In short: Shady, slightly hilly friendly race
In full: Don't mind with the no goody bag, for the price what a great half marathon, have done quite a few over the years and love the road closures, friendly marshalls, countryside location didn't even mind that 95% was on the road! The end dip in the field does make your legs feel like they have just come off a bouncy castle, but other than that, GOOD TIMES!

In short: I liked this race
In full: This was my first half for nearly 3 years so a bit nervous but much better than expected. I would like to say that the marshals were probably the most enthusiastic I have ever come across particularly on the hilly parts of the course and the overall organisation was very slick (secure baggage area etc)
Thankfully, although it was hitting 27c, it was lovely and cool in the shaded woods so the heat only kicked in during the final lap around the field.
Some minor gripes were the lack of toilets at the start and during the race and, as others have mentioned below, the lack of a goody bag with the requisite mars bar otherwise an excellent race (it was great to have a shower and to head for the nearby Emperor pub for a cold drink afterwards)

In short: 2nd time around that hill hurt!!
In full: my first attempt at a non flat half, excellant but challenging. brilliant organisation and support, shame about the lack of any extras at the end tho` and missed a trick by not having any food stalls and drink after( except for a few cakes)but, i`ll be back, well done burnham joggers!!

In short: A good stern test but still enjoyable.
In full: Well organised, enjoyable & very scenic race but should have left something in the tank for the second lap. Good route with lots of shade from the over hanging trees. Never seen so many marshals all giving encouragement. Plently of off-site parking. Good start & finish area - made use of the swimming pool. One for next year. Well done Burnham Joggers - good one.
