In short: Excellent, very scenic route and very friendly
In full: This is a very well run event that is not to big and very friendly. It is not described as 'hilly' for nothing, so do not expect a personal best, though do not let that put you off this great event

In short: Fantastic!
In full: I regret not doing a bit more hill training before this race (living in Cambridge makes this difficult!), however it was a really enjoyable run, beautiful countryside and well organised. Weather was fantastic too ;-)

In short: Means what it says..
In full: Be warned that 'hilly' in this instance means just that. The one at 8 is a real brute. Made up for by excellent organisation, great atmosphere, friendly, pleasant people.

In short: The nicest hardest race I have ever done!
In full: A very scenic country run, organisation, marshallers etc spot on! I would recommend hill training before undertaking, the hill after 8 miles has to be seen to be believed! Thoroughly enjoyed the event and would recommend to anyone! Would be nice to get a medal at the end though as I definitely felt like I deserved one!!!

In short: PW for me this year due to injury but still an all time favourite race
In full: To do or not to do. Oh go on then. Despite dropping almost 30 mins on last week's time and 20 on last year's it was well worth turning up for. Great organisation, very friendly, good food/drinks available at reasonable prices. No aspect of commercial rip-off. Great scenery, no outstanding scenery. The tough bits make it all the more worthwhile as they add to the sense of achievement. Even a health warning on the instructions shows that thess guys care about their runners. I'll be back as this will be a calendar event for me and with a category change next year.....
