In short: Great event, well organised, lots of cheering, tough course - excellent
In full: This tough new course held a lot of concern for runners who liked the old course. After the event they realised they shouldn't have had any worries. The crowds of spectators on the warm day was very uplifting and carried you over the first six and final one mile. Where do I sign up for next year? The event was so good I took 2 1/2 minutes of my PB!

In short: Great race
In full: Well organised, good value and lots of supporters along the route. I would recommend this race to anyone looking for a VLM warm up. The only gripe I have (and it is a very small one) is that the Championchip system which requires you to tie a chip round your ankle left me with a pretty nasty blister. Would much prefer one that was tied into the laces. Aside from that niggle great!

In short: Well organised race, great support, not flat though!
In full: This is a really well organised race with great support in both the town centre and the more remote sections of the course. I entered this race as it was advertised as fast and flat but I would question this - definitely not flat although the hills are not steep there are a lot of them so I would recommend some hill runs in your training. Also, the first 5 miles are 2 laps of the same route which isn't great, but the final 400m is a very welcome downhill section.

In short: Well organised race, nice route, although difficult to reach finish for spectators
In full: Enjoyed this race. Well organised start and along the route. Friendly athmosphere. The last mile of the route has quite a climb so if you are going for a PB make sure you keep that in mind. One negative point is that it is difficult for spectators to reach (or leave) the finish line mid race so be there early if you want to see somebody finish.

In short: Great all round event
In full: Same day as rip off reading and a fraction of the cost. This race is by far one of the best organised I have run. The potential for PB is there as is the town centre and village / countryside scenery. Parking is free and close to the start, marshalls and drinks station teams all very friendy.. A CRACKING RACE

In short: Really good race, no negatives at all.
In full: This was always a favourite event and is now even better as minor quibbles like the congested start and late start time are now rectified too! I'm normally no fan of loops but going through Fleet town centre twice was actually very pleasant becuase the support was so deep and encouraging. The scenic part of the race followed and that was picturesque with the undulations generally very mild and manageable. Great organsiation and marshalling as ever, thank you Fleet & Crookham AC.

In short: Well organised race with a much improved start
In full: The new start was a huge improvement on previous years, although it did mean a few more inclines to negotiate!
Personally I found the loops through the town a bit dull and preferred the second half of the course, through the villages. However there was a lot of support along the High Street.
Well organised bag-drop and a good number of toilets. Lots of free parking in the town nearby and plenty of pubs for carb reloading afterwards.
Medal, bottle of water and banana at the end, no pointless "goody" bags to increase costs.

Will be back next year. Thanks to all organisers and marshalls.

In short: Excellent!
In full: Well organised event with route round Fleet town & out into the country roads, past several nice pubs (oh, how I wished for a pint !). Well supported, plenty of water stops & generous supporters handing out jelly babies!
