In short: Very enjoyable race
In full: This is said to be undulating, but I found it no more so than Luton marathon (same area!). The race was extremely well organised and friendly. Traffic was well controlled. Marshalls were very supportive.

In short: Good Marathon Warm Up
In full: Apart from the final half mile which looped around a housing estate thorough alley ways it is a very pleasant course with moderate hills. Perfect pre marathon test. The marshall's were excellent (there were loads)and the free to is one of the best.

In short: Scenic challenging pre-marathon run
In full: Other than last mile which seems to go on for ever through housing estate and alleyways, very pleasant undulating scenic course well marshalled with encouraging marshalls and water station helpers. Nice hoody. Would do again - well done Harriers.

In short: Great marathon preparation.
In full: Other than a bit of confusion with baggage and toilets (not enough really) at the beginning, the organisation and marshalling was great. Nice countryside - rolling course :-)

In short: Great support and marshals, shame about the parking!
In full: Not very beginner friendly, but how many beginners would dive straight into a 20 hilly race? Fantastic crowd support (the woman with the jelly babies at mile 19 was a life saver!) and the marshals seemed genuinely pleased to be involved. Car parking was a complete farce and the finish line felt a bit bolted-on. After running through glorious countryside for 19.5 miles it was a shame the last .5 was through a housing estate - still, a great experience and one I hope to repeat next year. Hopefully there'll be some timing chips by then
