In short: What a fabulous morning - couldn't be better
In full: First time I have ran this race. I had been put off in previous years because of the 13 minute mile time out, but I shouldn't have worried. It was great - all of it. So where do I start - the organisation fantastic, the marshalls were wonderful - so friendly and supportive, the views were incredible - so scenic and pictureque, very friendly and warm atmosphere made me feel extremely positive. Even though I think I was one of the last runners in, I felt great, positive and motivated. And what can I say about the goodie bag. Firstly, the tshirt was excellent quality - technical- not cotton, so it will be worn when I go out running. I have a pile of thick cotton race tshirts that I will never wear when I go out running. The stuff in the bag was incredible. I have never been so impressed. There was coffee, pasta, chocolate, more chocolate, even more chocolate, sweets, more sweets - just so much to eat - yummy!!!!! I'll be back next year. Even though the hills were hard, it wasn't offputting. If you are in training for a half marathon, this is a great race to add to your calendar, but don't leave it too late- it was full before the day. Thanks to everyone from Nidd Valley for an excellent day.

In short: fabulous run taking in some beautiful views
In full: first time running this and wow! what a great run, especially the cheery, encouraging marshalls, good banter with other runners. The route somewhat challenging and to cap it all a brill goody bag and tech long sleeve top. Definately recommend this one.weldome NVRR

In short: I love this race! Great route, great organisation, wonderful goody bags!
In full: I love this race! Lots of uphill to keep your interest and a couple of long descents to ease the pain. Great scenery, mix of road and track. Smiley marshalls, two drinks stations, fantastic t-shirts and great goody bags (until my children took all the chocolate.)

In short: BY GUMM!!!
In full: By eck! what a run, bags of true Yorkshire grit on display. Hilly, part trail, part road, part track and the most spectacular scenery from god's own county! great organisation, a weeks worth of shopping in the goody bag and an ace long sleeve tech t'shirt that I will wear with pride. This is a must do race, and I will certainly be back.

In short: Great setting but very tough course. One to enjoy without stressing over a PB
In full: Mixed terrain, some big hills, a great setting, great goody bag and quality long sleeved running top. Only gripe was getting out of the car park is a nightmare, so unless you are one of the first home, I would advise killing an hour in Ripley.

In short: Not having raced this event before I didn't know what to expect - have to say that despite the hills this is one of the best events I've raced in 23 years of running :-)

In short: Savage Profile!
In full: 3 or 4 really big hills but what goes up must come down so there were some long downhill stretches. Excellent and ample parking, sensational goody bag, real challenge so I'll be back for more soon.
