In short: This was an enjoyable race with frequent queues to aid rest and recovery.
In full: Always an enjoyable run, but I wondered whether the Slog had become a bit of a muddy gimmick. This year was fairly dry, but the mud and dung slinging/kicking competitors did their best to ensure an equitable distribution. I'm not convinced that the Christian remembrance ceremony at the start was wholly appropriate for a secular gathering.

In short: not as muddy as last year
In full: A great race- my second outing and I managed to knock 12mins of last year's time!
As last year, very well organised and I would like to say a big thank you to all of the marshalls and the ever-enthusiastic local people.
I would recommend this race to anyone who does not mind getting dirty- the atmosphere more than makes up for wrecked socks!
