In short: organised, marshalled, drink, feed, memento, all very high standard
In full: A very tough course but in beautiful surroundings, expect to put 5 to 10 mins on your usual time for this distance if you are only used to flat courses. Feed stations were well maned with what seemed to be briefed marshals that knew how to hand out water to the competitors, they were also very encouraging. Forget about a PB and go for the run of your life and you will not be disappointed!!

In short: This race is one of my favourites.
In full: Brilliantly organised, loads of water/sports drink stations, beautiful route. I even enjoyed the hills at the end. And as for the cakes...yum! Definitely one of my favourite races in the year.

In short: A race to look forward to. The organisation is brilliant, the race challenging, but the rewards are great. Fantastic cakes!

In short: Beautiful setting, well organised, unusual distance, so likely to be a PB!
In full: My 3rd running of this race and the weather has been fantastic on all three occasions, making the scenery all the better. Fairly flat until mile 9/10 then it gets interesting. The last climb up from the water to the start/finish is a bit brutal after 15 miles, but the brass band and cakes make it all worth while. Good medal too. Missed my pb by 2 mins this year, so I will be back.
