In short: Must review the start time
In full: I've not seen so many runners in need of medical help. Starting a hilly 1/2 at 1.15pm during September is bordering irresponsible.

In full: My second year of doing it. A fairly hard one - not helped by the hot weather. further not helped by the delay in starting - Race didn't get going until 1.15, which meant many runners had been lining up in their start categories for nearly half an hour - IN THE BLAZING SUNSHINE! Speakers had not been erected far enough down start line so runners had no idea what was going on and what was causing delay. Despite that, it is a good route, and the hills give you a bit of a challenge. Good atomosphere especially on homeward stretch. However, getting out of the car park was an absolute shambles. The Marshalls did nothing at all to help the situation which became increasingly bad - cars who had got in the 'proper' route out then had to hang around while people drove through 'barriers' (a piece of string) to jump in the queue further up. It took me 1hr and 45mins to get out of the car park - not good when you've just run 13 miles! It was quite bad last year as well, but nowhere near as bad as this. Let's hope the organisers get the message and organise this better. have to say it has put me off doing it again.

In short: Another scorcher but a lovely day out and the lack of the killer hill at 11 miles was most welcome. Will be back.

In short: very undulation, tough in the heat
In full: The long start finish straight gives great atmosphere which is a big boost. The course is truely undulating with very little of it actually flat which was tiring in the hot afternoon sun - an early start would be welcomed.

The car parking was well organised getting in but getting out was diabolical! Yes I know a major smash on a nearby road didn't help but the carpark marshalls we doing nothing to organise the multiple lanes of merging vehicles in the car park itself.

In short: Vey Hot and Hilly - Not PB potential
In full:
Good points: Lovely scenery, good support on course, entertainment in the runners village for the supporters. One lady with a hosepipe showering the runners - thanks!

Bad points:
- This is the first race i have done in an afternoon. Now I know why other races I have done have started in the morning! It was just too hot to run at that time of day.
- Its not a PB course, the start is congested and there is no way you could get up to race speed until after the top of the long walk.
- Water in plastic cups is useless. Bottles next time please.
- No goody bag.
- Not enough toliets
- Getting out of car park was horrendous!

In short: Excellent race, despite all the compliants
In full: My 6th time running this event and I really struggle to understand all the negativity. Yes there are not enough toilets (an issue at every half marathon) and yes the goody bag leaves a lot to be desired and yes the 1pm start, on a warm sunny day makes for a tough, gruelling run. But what about the positives? The scenic course is beautiful, the crowd support - in particular around the copper horse - is very uplifting and coming down the long walk towards the finshing post, for any standard of runner, with spectators either side of you, makes the hard work worthwhile. This event gets a lot of complaints but, personally at least, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

In short: Addition to previous note.
In full: I am sure exiting car park would be a problem in any event. However a "bump" involving two cars travelling towards Windsor, on the road just outside the red exit (Yes red and yellow were the same car park but different exits/entrances) meant the police had to direct north and south bound traffic on the road as well as from the race exit around the accident. The southbound traffic build up would have affected the yellow exit traffic.

In short: Well organised, traffic free.
In full: Very good event. Well organised on closed roads. Undulating not really a PB course. Well supported although a few areas were quiet. Only minor grip: Excellent medical cover - but I felt medics should have been spread around the course rather than at one or two stations. Many of the marshal youngsters in uniform (ACF?) were great, cheering and "marking" any casualties. To everyone: job well done on a very warm day.

In short: great course. tough run on a hot day, but worth it
In full: 2nd time of running this one. Surprised myself with a sub 2hr run, expecting a slower run due undulating course and v hot conditions. this is a great route, not hilly, just v undulating. Didn't drive so had none of the parking issues.
Do agree with an earlier start would be nice.
Happy with a medal, drink and bar at the finish. Goody bag not necessary, more money to charity.
Could we have a non-white t-shirt for next year??
Enjoyed the run. Will be back next year, hopefully in cooler conditions.
