In short: So hot! But excellent water and sponge stations - essencial in that sun. Friendly and well organised, just a killer hill at mile 8.... No PB potential in that sun, but otherwise maybe. if you can handle a big hill or two.

In short: Glad I didn't know about the hills!
In full: Excellent marshalls, very good drinks and sponge stations. Much needed in that heat. Got back in the care and it was 82 degrees! Thank goodness for the early start any later and we would have fried.

In short: What hill!?
In full: It's all been said, mildly challenging course, very hot day, great marshals, ok t-shirt but would have preferred as big medal!

In short: A well organised race. Well done, Harlow RC!
In full: Can't fault the organisation. It was excellent! The weather this year and last made it not such an enjoyable race to participate in though.

In short:
In full: I do like the early starts, and even as far away as Barking it was only a 30 minute drive, the race was picked as Barking road Runner G.P. race although a small turn out for us this was due to holidays an nothing to do with the race. I have just read our forum reports and your be happy to note they were all good.

In short: Enjoyable, apart from that hill at 8 miles...
In full: Grateful to have the start at 9.30, which was hot enough, but would have been horrendous any later in the morning. Hard course. The hill at 8 miles was a ball breaker. Excellent organisation and enjoyed immensely, even if well outside PB.

In short: Lovely
In full: I loved this race apart from the miserable git at mile 2 who told me it was a horrible course! that did not turn out to be true - it was very leafy and a lot of shade in the heat which was very welcome. Best marshalling I think I've seen in ages. Only downside was the killer hill in the park around mile 8 - whose idea was that!? Well done everyone...
