In short: Tough last 4 miles this year
In full: I think the revised course is better than last year. Weather was fantastic, given the low temperatures at the tail end of the week. Was well on course for a first time sub 1.30 until the 8 mile mark when ankle problems set in. The last 3 miles were very tough and I was gradually drifting backwards. This is the first half marathon that I've found mentally challenging as I was very tempted to give up with pain and diappointment at the 10 mile mark. I used this race as a marker for the Edinburgh Marathon in June. This was a bit of a wake up call but pleased that I had the mental strength to press to the end clocking in at 1.42.

In short: A brilliant run and a fantastic day out in the sunshine!
In full: To be totally honest...I could not fault this half-marathon. The course was well managed by the marshalls, cadets, & all the emergency services and had fantastic support throughout. Well done BATH !
The runners "village" and amenities were first class...apart from the long queues for the toilets.
The weather was unexpectantly pleasant!!!
Finally, the "goody bag" at the end of the run was a suprise which included a nice finishers medal.
Summary: Great run, Super organisation and brilliant support in a beautiful city.
I'll be back next year.

In short: Very impressive
In full: Runner's village was great, well organised race, nice flat course, sunny day and a Mars Bar! Shame about the missing mile markers (or maybe I just missed them!)

In short: Best. Half. Ever
In full: Best race I have run so far. Brilliantly organised, super-fast route (managed a PB) and great atmosphere. Runners Village a bonus.

Can't understand the complaints about the route, Bath is too hilly for it to go elsewhere.

One complaint - terrible mile markers.

In short: Very well organised, if only conditions were calmer...
In full: Terrific support from crowd and fine job by the cadets at the drinks stations. Just two gripes: bottled water should be much less than 500ml - most of it ended up splattered on the street! Can't blame anyone for the headwind on the southern half of the lap but what a trial. Superb finishing straight, nice medal, Runners' Village top banana.

In short: Big race feel and sound organisation.
In full: Excellent crowd support around the city centre and residential areas - even a few brave souls in the bleaker parts of the course. The drummers were very uplifting. Plenty of drinks from the cadets and other helpers. Good flat course (couple of gentle hills). Nice medal and goody bag (mars bar was much appreciated!).
