In short: Superb day, Bristol take note!
In full: Pefect weather. Great crowds. Great organisation and runners village, but shame about the toilets and baggage reclaim. Why were the toilets under the rugby stand locked before the race?? Foil blankets would have been nice in the baggage queues. Waited 40 minutes!!
All in all my best and fastest half marathon. Thank you Bath. When's next years?

In short: There's been lots of bad rep about this race and it's not deserved!
In full: A well organised race with a cracking atmosphere. Lots of drink stations and a wicked goody bag. Got a good time (with a cold) and the finish put the hairs up on my neck :o)

In short: What a lovely race!
In full: This was my first Bath Half Marathon, and the experience was great. Bath is a lovely city in its own right, and this is a perfect opportunity to escape for the weekend. Though the start was cold, windy, and threatened rain, the atmosphere was amazing. Everyone was talking to each other, and were very encouraging en route. There was a collective cheer as the lead runner outlapped the pack, and the good people who lined the course route made my race. Despite the bottleneck at the beginning, and some issues with spectators trying to cross the race route, it was a great weekend. I will definately be back!

In short: Wonderful Event, Wonderful Day
In full: This was my First Bath Half Marathon and only my Second Half Marathon ever. This was an awesome event. I enjoyed the Runners Village beforehand, the Build up was excellent (no warm up though!?) The Race itself was great, Nice fairly flat course around some really nice areas. The Support was brilliant especially on the last Mile. I recorded a new PB for Half Marathon. The goody bag afterwards was one of the nest i have ever received and the medal is brilliant makes it all worth while. No complaints whatsoever from me. Well Done of a great race.

In short: Great atmosphere. Nice race
In full: Atmosphere around the course was great. Marshalls excellent. Two niggles - long wait at start line (although it did mean the race started on time) - VERY long wait for baggage and no silver sheet in goody bag to keep warm. Most people were shivering.

In short: Excellent support
In full: Being local I know that you do best to use the City cafes etc for toilet before race, again this year I noted everyone in Runners Village faced horrendous wait for loos (& baggage collection at end), yet throughout Bath there are plenty of cafes & hence clean toilets. We were called to start half an hour before start so lots of us waiting long time & getting cold, but if it means people are in their CORRECT pens & race starts on time so beit.

However, it has to be said the atmosphere & crowd support is tremendous, well done Bath. It really makes it worthwhile. It gets better each year.

In short: Great local support.
In full: Good points:r good flat course, good support well organised.
Bad points: lots of people juming over barriers at the start not registered (not paid) there money could be used for better marshalling etc. the marshal a yong lad had no chance of controlling the people coming over the barriers. They seem to be running out of goodie bags towards the end and some people had more than one!!! Toilets a nightmare the queue was massive luckily I had already been but I felt sorry for those in the queue. All in all a good race for the large amount of runners involved.

In short: Our first 'big' race and was well organised apart from bag retrieval at the finish. Also a bit expensive!
In full: Great race atmosphere and must have took some organising. Bag storage good idea but not very well staffed at the end taking ages to get bags back (needed foil blankets in the goody bags to keep warm whilst waiting). Goody bag collection was open to abuse as you could have got more than one bag without trying too hard! Such a wide course gave alot of room for error on distance - my Garmin finished near the roundabout before the finish straight! As mentioned by others a rather expensive weekend as we had to stay 2 nights but overall was worth the visit as it was an amazing spctacle.

In short: Good race for beginner - my first ever half marathon
In full: Good race - my first ever half marathon - very welcoming. However they ran out of goody bags and thus medals at the end - very depressing if like me you are really working towards that. Did eventually get one from a man who had 3 bags!!!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise crowds great and fellow runners made my race - thanks to 2 guys I ran with!!
