In short: Great introduction to 10k distance, Shame it was 3 laps of same circuit.

In short: Nice Location and encouraging marshalls....
In full: Have completed this run on several occasions and every time the marshalls excel themselves, always encouraging and geeing you on. Is a good race for anyone wanting to do a 'proper' race but not one that will kill them, as three fairly flat laps around Regent Park are all that are required. Lots of beginners and good changing facilities.

In short: 3 lap flat course. Race filled with mixed abilities. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
In full: Organisation and facilities were great. The Hub changing facilities were more than adequate. Also water provided at end of each lap and bananas available at the end. Was my first lap based 10km which actually made it go a lot quicker than expected. Also allowed me to pace myself and finish more strongly, knowing the course. Managed a PB which was nice.

In short: Really friendly marshals/orgainsers and fellow runners. Mixed ability was nice. Facilities at The Hub are great.
In full: Although I was a bit concerned about it being organised by a running club, and therefor possibly a bit intimidating for a bit of a plodder, but I was very pleasantly surprised to find the staff, marshals and the other runners very friendly and encouraging. Really enjoyed this run, and pulled a PB out of the hat!

In short: Super race, great marshalling
In full: Organisation very slick - nothing fancy, just 3 laps of a set route. Facilities at the Hub (race HQ) are super. Also good that it's monthly so you can check your improvement over a series of months. Convenient and efficient race.

In short: Wobbly start but turned out great!
In full: I'm none too keen on running laps, but the figure of 8 shape means you're not always turning in the same direction. The course marshalls were great - very encouraging and smiley! The change in weather from grey to clear blue didn't hurt either.

In short: Good race, shame about the multiple laps.
In full: Good race, but (reading by my previous reviews) I'm never a big fan of doing multiple laps. Although saying that this one did have a certain charm about it, with the parklands seeming to drown out the throng of city life in the backgroup and the sound of animals from the zoo going about there daily life....the laps seemed to disapear quickly.

In short: Well done to the organisers. Properly marshalled. Took a nice route through the park and it didn't really feel as if we were running around in circles.
