In short: Love it
In full: First time at this one, hopefully not my last visit. Good off site parking. Nice course with a couple of slopes. Plently of helpful marshals at the water stops. Nice one Reading Roadrunners.

In short: ideal benchmark race for spring mara
In full: Bumbags? I can see what they were thinking, nice change from a medal or T-shirt, but mine's destined for the charity shop.

In short: Good Mara Preparation
In full: I like this race, I find it a fast course, despite one or two undulations around country roads. Great to see the police helping out and the marshalling and support at water stations was top. The bumbag was a bit unusual but the snacks and milkshake at the end were most welcome. £18 for a t-shirt on top of £20 entry was very steep in my opinion.

In short: A good race, well organised although the delayed start was a bit frustrating. Thanks to the organisers and marshalls.

In short: Countryside race with a good atmosphere! My first 20, ouch!
In full: My first time running 20 miles. The race was delayed by 15 minutes, but that wasn't too much of a problem. The course itself is along country roads with some hills but nothing too challenging. The marshalls, police, army dishing out drinks and photographers were really supportive! I really didnt like going through the finish line on the 10 miles with all the 10 milers finishing when I knew I had to go round twice! Nice to have chip timing on a smaller race! One of the things the event needed was much better toilet facilities! There were 3 portaloos which had cues at all times, (with one leaking) eww). Another problem was waiting in the school, there were far too many people waiting in the warm in the school and caused a bit of crushing at times! Overall a good race. Would of preferred a medal rather than a bumbag! LOL!

In short: A well organised event, a good pre marathon event.
In full: A well organised event, which due to its timing is a good warm up/ pace setter for spring marathons. Friendly and encouraging marshalls are always a sign of a good race, and Bramley has these!

Special thanks to the poor police women who had to put up with a load of abuse from a female driver who wanted to get to Church. Lets hope she made it there and learnt something about patience, tolerance, and respect for others!
