In full: I love the Sheffield Half Marathon - this is my third year running. The route is brilliant, and the spectators in the stadium and on Eccleshall Road are wonderful. Two small gripes, sorry sorry. Toilets at the begining AGAIN, and the water stations. My partner missed his goal time by about 30 seconds and if the water stations weren't such a shambles I think he could well have got this. For such a good race to be let down by basics like this is a shame. And was that really an official photographers crouched by the 'water' stations?! Those shots are going to be just lovely! If Sheffield decide go head-to-head again with the Leeds half next year, I'll be heading over there.

In short: Excellent race and well organised...let down by lack of toilet facilities
In full: I can not believe that an 'international venue' like Don Valley can not provide better toilet facilities for so many people.it does matter and lack of such facilities creates unecessary stress. it's ok for blokes who feel able just to go against a bush or wall but not us girls!!

In short: OK
In full: Dull scenery in parts, great support and very enjoyable along the half way mark (miles 6-8) and music was a nice touch.

First couple of water stations very unprepared.

Disapointing for a big city race....expected more!!

In short: Am I the only one who missed the (non-water) drinks station??? Very disappointing, as was the goodie bag at the end. I think mine had a 'hole' in it! Thanks to all the volunteer helpers and supporters though who make it all so worth while.

In full: A special race, done it 5 times, well organised, good support. Water in cups not the best !! music on Eccy Rd good but it would be good to have this in other places. Entries sold out quickly this year so the interest is there but please give it some more thought to make the event more special !

In short: Great race
In full: My first Sheffield Half and I managed to slice off a good 3 minutes from my PB so that was very pleasing. As like most races are going these days, water is now in cups (a personal bug bear) but they were frequent.
Could have done with that rain that was promised towards the end though!
