In short: Gentle hill seems to go on for 5.5km but view on the return is great.
In full: Was a really nice morning and the 9.30am start meant the rest of the day was free to deal with the blisters! Very quaint town and lovely run.

In short: Hilly but the scenery is worth it
In full: Not a PB course, but the atmosphere and scenery were worth it. Nice memento, and I like the 0930 start time as it means the day isn't totally taken out.

In short: Some scary hills - but worth it for the lovely scenery! I did a PB! Recommended.
In full: I really enjoyed the run. It was the first time I'd run the course and I thought it was beautiful - well worth the hills to get to the views at the top! The memento was lovely - it was nice to feel like you had won a trophy. :o)

The castle was gorgeous as well, and the timing is nice - having it around the same time as a festival means there are lot's of crowds to cheer us on!

The end of the race did have it's problems. I was in the queue of those arriving in around an hour. We waited for quite a while to have our times taken. My final time was about a minute out, after the queueing was taken into account. Also, the crowds made it difficult to finish as they were all over the course at the end.

All in all though, great race, I will definitely be back again next year.

In short: A very scenic 10k through and around the grounds of Arundel castle, some cheeky hills in there, not really any chance of a PB unless you have lots of hill miles in your legs.
