In short: It didn't rain! Woohoooo!
In full: Flawless organisation as ever and the great scenery was much more enjoyable this year because the conditions under foot were much more stable, No mud and some of the nasty ruts had been filled in. Really good atmosphere at the Farley Mount relay transition. I love this event - well done organisers.

In short: well organised and lovely scenery, but with some nasty hills
In full: only 1 issue with the running, at mile 17 the water station was staffed by one girl was trying really hard to keep up but couldn't cope with the demand. Not helped by some people pushing in

In short: excellent run, good challenging hills, of road no traffic, well marshalled. Not sure about runners with dogs on small tracks potential trip hazard!!

In short: Well organised, challenging but rewarding
In full: Yet another well organized Clarendon (third in a row for me). Of the four Marathons I have completed this Autumn, this event stood head and shoulders above the rest both in terms of runner challenge, atmosphere and organization. The start and finish locations are superb with efficient finish-start transport arrangements and supportive marshals.

In short: One from me the organiser so OK I am bound to be biased :) pls see my review
In full: Thanks to all for your comments. From my side of the event things seemed much better with with less queues, wider tracks, quicker collection of finishing t-shirts, medals & prize giving. Also lds of photos (see web)& many £1000's to charities from the proceeds in thanks for peoples help without which the event woudn't happen. So please tell me what else you want?? Sorry two things I cant improve is the weather and the heating for the showers. But assurances we will NOT run out of t-shirts / medals next year. ALL finishers should now have one from this year. Great to see you and hope to see you next year. Best regards to you all Paul

In short: My first marathon great run but bad weather day.
In full: It was a very wet and muddy marathon for my first attempt no ones fault just the way things turned out. It was enough to put me off for 2 years before I do my next one it was very painful in the end the slippey mud made my muscles ache I did not know I had and some I did.

In short: The best race i have run this year
In full: The best challenge I have had this year. It was great, all we needed was bergens and shouting and it could of been an Army PT outing. That goes for the organisation too. I cant fault anything. Just wish i got the medal, it looked cool!
