In short: Organisation at start and finish could have been much better. I spent most of the time not having a clue where I was meant to be going - and lots of others seemed the same. OK if you know Leeds and what all the areas are but I didn't!

In short: great atmosphere
In full: A great "run for all".
For those who thought it was congested, try the Great North Run. Yes a time pen system would be better - maybe next year.
For those who want a PB try the Abbey Dash on November 22 in aid of Help the Aged...

In short: Second time, new runner
In full: Would the moaning minnies please stop! You knew how big the entry was so why moan about people walking and slow runners? If you want a PB enter a race with less first timers and charity runners. The organisers did a fantastic job, the atmosphere was awesome.. more toilets in Millenium Square might be handy before the start but otherwise well done Mike Tomlinson and everyone involved with the race...its a privillige to be part of Janes memory

In short: Incredible atmosphere spoilt by squashed start
In full: Such a worthwhile cause, but my husband and I are regular runners and were expecting to have a penned start. Frankly the charge at the start was dangerous, whilst faster runners were trying to get away, some people were wanting to walk, and the poor wheelchair users were blasted from all sides. Also why was the start on an uphill? Surely the point is to get everyone going! At £22 entry fee, we would have expected colour coded time pens on the start.

In short: Great atmosphere, a good cause but far too busy to get any kind of steady pace.
