In short: For fun runners? In full: This was a mass run for a great cause, bit not an event for the serious runner. For starters, why did they bring the Red (1hr+) runners up to the same start line as the Green (sub 1hr) runners? All this did was cause a mass mix-up at the off. Then how come the actual distance was 10.25k? This adds 1min15secs to a 50minute race so I suspect a few runners dissappointed with their times today - no fault of your own. Finally, how many times do we have to have lack of toilets. About 15 loos for 2500 people at the Green start - woeful. And where were all the people of Leeds to cheer us on? A poor spectator turn-out compared to Sheffield.
In short: Stunning organisation - well done I had great fun In full: It was inspiring to be part of a race involving 11,000 other runners, it was really well thought out and thank-you to all the marshalls who kept me going when it hurt! Date of review: June 22, 2008
