In short: Tough and hilly course. Made harder by the biting wind. Thanks to all the marshalls who must have frozen.
In full: Its always a hard course with hills at 2 6 10 and 12 miles. The last on being an absolute killer. The wind made it harder this year with a 20 mph head wind on the long open section from 6 to 10, and with the temperature at just +1 made it realy cold.
The marshal were wonderful,it must have been hell standing around waiting for the runners.
As usual the organisation was good, and the exit from the start had been improved.

In short: So cold, but well organised!
In full: My first half marathon, and first competitive race! So incredibly cold - well done to all of the marshalls! Very well organised, and a big thankyou to the ambulance guys who followed me for the whole 13 miles!! (Yes, I was last!!) Probably not the best first race ever for me as it was a bit hilly (!) but because it was my first race, I got a PB! Also a big thankyou to Jan who stayed with me for 10 miles!

In short: Great race, excellent marshalls, nice scenery if you can peel your eyes from the road ahead
In full: Loads of drinks stations, great marshalls. Mile markers could be a little bigger & a bit more prominent. Nice stiff course. Will keep coming back.

In short: Very challenging but pretty race, the -6 windchill was a big challenge! Very well marshalled. Last mile a killer. Shame you ran out of t shirts, some of our slower club runners were disappointed.
