In short: Great event as usual from Trionium
In full: No wonder this is in the top three half marathons. Great views, great organisation, excellent after event gifts, as well as a creme egg, with a full english breakfast. One or two runners have mentioned the event being expensive, however you have to look at events like the Kilomathon, Run to the Beat etc and realise how much value for money this event is. Taking into consideration road closures and policing costs this beats the bigger events by far for value for money, atmosphere and scenery. Also the bigger events are making monies for profit, the Trionium events do not. Rant finished.. Well done Rob and his marshals/support team.
See you at the Munroe :-)

In short: Great event. Loved it
In full: Going up was manageable. Coming down was fun even though I fell. Steps at the end - does anyone run up those?
Superb event. Well done to the organisers. Nice medal and momentous at the end

In short: Worth the way up for the way down
In full: Painful going up but feel the wind in your hair on the way down. Note can be also a bit dangerous - I had a heavy fall after tripping at full speed on the way down. Had to get x-ray to confirm I hadn't broken a bone in my foot

In short: A fantastic event! My first time running this and I will definitely be back next year - loved it!!
In full: Hilly, lumpy, painful - what better way is there to spend a Sunday morning!
The event was very well organised, the marshalls and supporters were fantastic, the scenery stunning, the post race goodies and medal made the hard slog well worth it, and the whole experience was very friendly and enjoyable (and I don't even like hills)!!
First timers were made very welcome - I would recommend this race to anyone:)
