In short: Aside from the starting pen debacle, the Royal Parks rocks!
In full: With the exception of the un-monitored starting pens resulting in very slow runners (in wrong colour bibs) being at the front, this was superb:

Course - flat, scenic and plenty of support.

Organisation - yes there were queues for baggage and loos but with 15,000 runners, that's inevitable. The lack of organisation at the starting pens was the only real negative.

After - plenty of free stuff, chip time texted to me by the time I picked my bag up, post-run food options galore - what's not to like?!

Overall - excellent. I thought the BUPA 10,000 was London's 'second' race but the Royal Parks just blew that out of the water.

In short: Nice run around central London & Hyde Park
In full: This was a great race through Hyde Park and central London with road closures and everything. Loads of support for the runners, particularly in Hyde Park. Race is pretty flat throughout. Results were texted through to me within 2 hours of the race finishing and race started dot on time.

In short: Great race with fantastic after race festival
In full: Second timing running this half and would do it again. Great course for PB. I smashed my PB this time, perfect racing weather helped.
Organisation very good in run up but race getting hugely popular.
Suggest placing baggage tent nearer finish, as long walk to get your warm clothes. Also mile markers off especially 9 and 10. Pens work OK but as ever slower runners insist on placing themselves at the front.
After race festival fun with largest number of freebies I've ever seen.

In short: Well organised but I'll try and use the toilet before next year!!
In full: Enjoyed this one very good for a PB but make sure you over estimate your finishing time as there were alot of people in front of me that were NEVER going to do it in under 2 hours!! Food fair was amazing with loads of free stuff my family couldn't believe their luck and I topped up my finish banana with loads of stuff including choc milk. Happy days.

In short: Great race , big queues for bagge drop off
In full: was my first hm and was a great race. Big queues at the bag drop off with lots of volunteers just standing there not doing a lot. found it a bit of expensive race for a t-shirt i probably wouldnt wear again and a lump of wood for a medal!!

In short: Big, fun, fast... oh, and a wooden medal
In full: There was plenty of space for 15,000 of us to storm round the flat course. We were treated to a snazzy purple t-shirt made of bamboo charcoal and were showered with cereal bars. I'm not too sure about the wooden medal, though.

In short: Great organisation
In full: I had a charity place for this one and Asthma UK were excellent hosts and well worth running for. Nice course, not as crowded as I had feared. Support a bit iffy in places which surprised me, but great in the latter half when you really needed it. Loads for supporters to see and do, a great big event. Would I rush to do it again, probably not, just because of the effort of getting there early and I prefer smaller local races.

In short: Good organisation for large crowd!
In full: Lovely run, well organised with friendly marshalls. Started promptly and plenty of drinks en route.
Loved seeing the Cat in the Hat running through central London. Good crowd support and special thanks to the lady handing out jelly babies around mile 9!
