In short: Awesome race yet again, lung busting up the Dipper, and icy toes in the stream

In short: A good one to end the year with!
In full: With over 700 in this years race the start was a bit tight! Perhaps the organisers will limited it to 700 next year. Recomend you get your entry in early. Worth doing at least once in your life. I will be back.

In short: A great off-road race with a serious altitude problem - top bananna !
In full: Well done Brackla Harriers for organising such a great and unique race - 600 is probably about the limit on the current course though. Can't wait for next year - some training may even be resorted to !

In short: 1st Rate Course.
In full: Incredible challenging course. 6 Toilets for 600 runners, 2 of which were out of order. No less than 40 people waiting all morning up to race start time. £10 entry on day but with no goodie bag - not even a complimentry soup and bread roll. Unbelievably unfair as pre entry was £7. Would have been fairer to charge £5 on the day. Despite this I would do race again next year but will bring potty and my own flask of soup.

In short: SANTAstic race!!
In full: The first time I have done this one (even though its just down the road from where I live). Friendly marshallers, a BIG (!!) sandy dune to run up, nice scenery, splashing through water to finish AND a Christmas pudding in your goodie bag. What more can you ask for! The soup and roll at the end managed to warm up bits I had long lost the feeling in. Thank you Brackla Harriers for organising a great run.

In short: First time I'd entered an "off road" race, but had a great time. All the marshals were great and the atmosphere was really good. Really cold but gorgeous day.
