In short: Good day for Running
In full: This was my first half marathon, however on the whole it was an enjoyable adventure. As people as previous stated the beginning was a bit of a tight squeeze, but once through the road open up. Looking forward to the full marathon

In short: Great run through some lovely parks, shame about the last 3 miles
In full: This is my first half marathon and I really enjoyed it. The course snakes through three of Liverpool's Victorian parks and there's plenty of bystanders cheering you on. Organisation was really good, definitely appreciated the post-race massage and banana! The only kicker was the last 3 miles which are run along the Otterspool Promenade - although this offers an excellent view of the Wirral, the long and straight track is quite arduous. But if you can handle the mental challenge, you're rewarded with a swift 13th mile.

In short: Fast, flat and very friendly! oh and very early
In full: First ran this race 14 years ago and rarely disappoints. Start was a bit crowded and I didn't cross the line until there were 15 minutes on the clock and the pacing groups had disapperared into the distance! That was the only issue though and actually worked out well as it meant I was still catching people in mile 13. Great conditions today and the course is pretty flat all the way (one early hill). The atmosphere was great, the course really interesting and well worth crawling out of bed at 7.00am on the day the clocks went forward! An event I'll always come back to. Big thanks to all involved.

In short: Great organisation, great course, great race.
In full: My first Liverpool HM - I entered to get an idea of the course for the full Marathon, but really enjoyed the race and got a PB to boot!

Organisation was excellent, and the route through the parks, then back along the waterfront was really enjoyable.

Well worth getting up early for!
