In short: Tough going on an "undulating" course
In full: Tough going on an "undulating" course - not a course with PB potential but more scenic and interesting that your usual 5 miler.

In short: A bit narrow in places so for the better runner it may be slightly frustrating trying to pass, but for someone like me it was a great race. Well done MSA!

In short: Tough for a beginner like me but still very enjoyable.
In full: Beautiful rambling course through unspoilt woods. A few nasty hills to negotiate so make sure you train for this beforehand. I didn't!

In short: an enjoyable change from road races, which lives up to its multi-terrain description
In full: This is a good race, with quite a few challenges. The weather was close to ideal which helped. Interestingly I was able to knock a minute off last year's time, but finished about 20 places further back.

In short: An enjoyable race
In full: A good race and an enjoyable school fete. No water on the course and was only told about this a minute before the start, but thankfully it was not too hot to need any!

In short: Excellent atmosphere when you burst onto the finish area
In full: Good blend of terrain and plenty to get your teeth into.

Faultless organisation.

Excellent atmosphere at the race finish and plenty to do afterwards. BBQ impressive.
