In short: A great course through the woods. Tough going, especially as the day was a real scorcher.

In short: fantastic
In full: sunburn, insect bites and a dusty trail followed by a hose down by a fireman at the end and yummy mummies handing out fairy cakes - what more can you ask for??

Seriously, this was the first time I had done this race and think it has been my favourite for a long time. The course is challenging with plenty of uphill work that makes a PB quite difficult. The organisation was excellent and whilst there were lots of club runners there, everybody seemed very welcoming.

If only all races were as enjoyable all this one - will definitely be back!
