In short: Well marshalled / organised and excellent cakes!
In full: First time for this one, will recommend it to the rest of my club, good quality field, but I wasn't last! Nice to have hot showers a the end as well. Will aim to be back next year, congrats to the organisers, marshalls, cooks and tea ladies.

In short: Lovely race in beautiful surroundings.
In full: What a great race, very well organised, route was lovely and kind to the legs (apart from the cheeky hill at 8 - 9.5 miles), goody bag was excellent and results available nice and quickly.

In short: Best 10 miler in the area
In full: Lovely route, through almost traffic free countryside. Better than average T shirt, and free pot of jam! Excellent signposting, with accurate mile markers. Not much in the way of support, but well organised - easy parking. Mostly flat course, and even the hill at mile 9 was less tough than I remembered from last year. 3rd time for me, and one of the highlights of my running year. Just the right number of competitors - no congestion at the start, but always someone to run alongside.

In short: Great Autumn run through quiet country lanes with demanding finish
In full: Second time that I have run it and I enjoy this race. Smallish field but well organised. The race takes you through quiet, traffic-free lanes and is farily flat apart from a steady climb between 8 and 9 miles. After running it last year and getting caught out by the hill I was able to mentally prepare for it this time. It was still demanding but at least I knew it was coming and this helped me beat by previous 10m best by 4mins. Definitely good pb potential if you hold a bit back for the hill at the end. Good T-shirt and goody bag too.
