In short: ran this last oct as my 2nd ever half. Fantastic race
In full: Great scenery, lots of people supporting, well run water stations by locals. Oh and I knocked 10 mins off PB. Will see you all next year!

In short: Well organised. Particularly liked the personal touch of calling peoples names as they went throught the half way stage and at the finish!

In short: It's a big race with over 1,000 entries but still keeps that village feel. Oh and the bar was cheap.

In short: Some of the slopes are rather deceptive!
In full: The loops in the course make it a spectator-friendly event, but the way the car park was starting to cut up, I'm glad I wasn't the last to try to leave. Next year, I might try hydrating properly, so I don't blow up in the latter stages of the race. Also, with the large number of runners, I met more who had been there at our last club night than I did at the race itself.

In short: Great scenery, very surreal sharing country roads with runners & not cars. Great organisation as far as I was concerned.
In full: Considering the low overall rating for PB potential, most of the reviewers seem to have run one !! This course is definitely not hilly in comparison to some. The race obviously has a growing reputation as one of the best judging by the increase in numbers and quality of the field.

In short: Very enjoyable event.
In full: Good weather increased the size of the field on the day beyond the advertised limit and delayed the start. My first 1/2, definitely got the bug.

In short: 2nd time Ive run it. Friendly, nice course, not too crowded, good training run.
In full: I did this race in 03 as my 1st 1/2 and found I had recovered sufficiently from the Beach Head Marathon the week before to run it again. Nice country course in figure of 8 shape. Family came along to support and enjoyed the atmosphere. Set a new pb of 1:37
